ESG Code of Conduct for Business Partners of SEUNGJIN IND Co., Ltd.

SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd. supplies seismic and fire protection products essential for business operations through close collaboration with partners in various industries, including semiconductors, construction, metals, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Recently, regulations addressing human rights violations, environmental issues, safety incidents, and ethical concerns within corporate supply chains have been strengthened, while stakeholder expectations for social responsibility are also increasing. In this regard, SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd. has established the ESG Supplier Code of Conduct (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”) to ensure the sustainability of the mutually cooperative relationships that form the foundation of shared growth with our partners. This Code encourages our partners to respect human rights, take responsibility for the environment, ensure a safe working environment, and operate their businesses ethically. Together with our partners, we will strengthen efforts to implement the Code, conduct reviews and evaluations to promote mutual growth, and request corrective actions in cases of non-compliance. This Code has been established based on global guidelines and may be amended as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to our partners in advance through our website, email, fax, or other appropriate channels.

1. Labor / Human Rights

1.1 Non-Discrimination Partners must create a work environment free from illegal discrimination and harassment in all employment practices. 1.2 Voluntary Labor All work, including that performed by temporary, migrant, student, contract, regular, or any other type of worker, must be voluntary and free from forced labor. 1.3 Working Age Partners must comply with the legal minimum working age, including a strict prohibition of child labor. 1.4 Working Hours Partners must adhere to legal requirements regarding working hours, including those set forth in the Labor Standards Act or equivalent laws. 1.5 Wages Partners must comply with legally mandated minimum wages and must not impose wage deductions that reduce pay below the minimum as a form of disciplinary action. 1.6 Humane Treatment Partners must not subject workers to inhumane treatment, including discrimination, abuse, or other forms of harsh treatment. 1.7 Freedom of Association Partners must respect workers’ rights to freedom of association, including the right to join or organize labor unions.

2. Environment

2.1 Environmental Permits Partners must comply with environmental laws and regulations to minimize environmental impact and contribute to the protection of local communities. Partners are required to obtain and maintain all necessary environmental permits for their operations. 2.2 Pollution Prevention and Resource Minimization Partners must make every effort to reduce environmental pollution and prevent environmental incidents. They should also strive to minimize resource usage at the source. 2.3 Wastewater and Waste Management Partners must comply with applicable laws and regulations when storing, transporting, or treating wastewater and waste. 2.4 Air Emissions Partners must adhere to legal requirements regarding the emission of air pollutants. 2.5 Energy and Greenhouse Gases Partners must make every effort to reduce energy consumption and minimize greenhouse gas emissions.

3. Safety / Health

3.1 Industrial Safety Partners must eliminate all hazards and implement preventive measures to ensure industrial safety. They should provide appropriate personal protective equipment to prevent worker exposure to risk factors. 3.2 Emergency Response Partners must establish emergency plans and response procedures to minimize damage in the event of safety incidents. 3.3 Incident and Illness Management Partners must establish procedures and systems to manage workplace accidents and occupational diseases. 3.4 Industrial Hygiene Partners must maintain and provide clean working environments for all employees. 3.5 Ergonomic Risk Management Partners must proactively control risks associated with physically demanding work. 3.6 Machinery Safety Partners must assess safety risks of production and other equipment and take measures to eliminate hazards. 3.7 Chemical Management Partners must ensure that chemicals are safely managed during transportation, storage, use, and disposal. They must also label or disclose information to identify the hazards and harmful properties of the chemicals they handle.

4. Ethics

4.1 Business Integrity Partners must strictly comply with all applicable laws based on free competition and fair trade and conduct all transactions legally and ethically. 4.2 Protection of Whistleblowers and Prohibition of Retaliation Partners must operate channels for reporting unethical behavior and whistleblower protection programs, safeguard the identity of whistleblowers, and prohibit any retaliation against them. 4.3 Intellectual Property Partners must protect the intellectual property rights of both customers and business partners. 4.4 Information Security Partners must continually maintain efforts to protect customer information and respect personal data. 4.5 Prohibition of Improper Benefits Partners must prohibit corrupt practices, including bribery, embezzlement, or any acts intended to influence transactions with SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd. such as securing favorable conditions or transaction approval. Partners must continuously monitor compliance, and all transactions must be transparently recorded and managed. 4.6 Customer Value Partners must maintain the quality of products and services expected by SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd.’s customers and make every effort to create an environment in which customers can use these products and services safely and effectively. 4.7 Community Engagement Partners should recognize SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd.’s active participation in social contribution activities, such as volunteer work and disaster relief, as a responsible corporate citizen, and cooperate in engaging in such community initiatives. 4.8 Provision of Information Partners must provide accurate information regarding labor, safety, health, environmental management, business activities, governance, financial status, and performance when requested by SEUNG JIN IND Co., Ltd. in accordance with applicable laws and industry best practices.
